For some hearty, heavy, completely authentic mexican food in the West San Fernando Valley, Taqueria Tapatio is spot.  Unlike many authentic spots in Woodland Hills and Canoga Park, El Taqueria Tapatio is clean, has an ‘A’ rating, and provides a healthy setting with a couple flat screens and plenty of Mexican decor. Their extensive menu has it all. Almost anything you can think of exists from juicy Al Pastor tacos to Chile Relleno burritos. We sat there, under the air conditioning, watching the world cup, sipping our Coke from the bottle.

The taqueria caters as well; so it’s a great place to call if you’re hosting a (818) 883-6142.
